A Veronica Funny :)

While I was feeding Lucky today, Veronica asked me what baby Lucky was doing. I said that he was drinking milk. She came up to me put a cup on my lap and noticed my belly. She said "look at your belly button" and then a blew on my tummy. I don't know what she was planning on asking but I'm glad my belly distracted her. Laughter truly is the best medicine!

Nothing exciting to report. But I need to stay in the habit of blogging or I wont keep up with it. Houston and I are finishing up the semester. Houston is getting ready to start his Senior Year at CSUS and this year he'll be starting his Internship with the Roseville Police Department which we are both excited about. It will be a great learning experience and they only select the top students from the program so I'm pretty proud of my hubby.

I'm gearing up and getting ready for baby number two. I have about four weeks left. I'm pretty nervous with this one. I was induced with V so I experienced everything in the hospital. I didn't have to guess or time any contractions. I'm so nervous about my water breaking in public. How humiliating would that be?

Veronica is talking up a storm. She can sing her ABC's, I Am a Child of God, I Love to See the Temple and a bunch of other Primary Songs. She can count to 11 and we are working on her shapes and recognizing the letters and what they are. She's excited to meet Baby Lucky, who she calls Baby Yucky, and likes to feel him kick. She told me this morning that he kicked her in the head. She will be a great big sister. She is so helpful already.

My Birthday

So for my birthday Houston, Veronica and I went to Muir Woods, a place I have never been before. It was a nice little 1 1/2 mile walk around beautiful giant redwood and sequoia trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had such a great time!

After Muir Woods we went to Rohnert Park and went to Scandia. V loved this game.

Veronica won heart shaped glasses and unicorn stickers with all of the tickets we received.

And then we hit up a few thrift stores!

After that we had dinner with our friends Steven and Heidi who live in the bay area who we don't get to see as often as we would like. So all and all I had a great Birthday!

My baby girl....

...Isn't such a baby anymore. We have been teaching her to sit on the toilet. Which comes at a very good time. I was hoping to avoid having two kids in diapers, so hopefully it catches on soon.

V wanted to ride on the horse with her baby doll so bad, but was having a hard time fitting. It was so cute!

Morrocan Date

For our date tonight, Houston took me to Marrakech Morrocan Restaurant. These pictures are from my phone so they are not the best. The ambiance was great and the food was amazing! Its a great date place, but it takes a couple hours to get through the meal. Its a 5 course "meal" that you eat with your fingers. We both had a great time.

And on Friday and Saturday nights they have a professional Belly Dancer!

The second time she came out to preform, she gave a mini lesson that I took part in. She complemented me TWICE on how well I shook my hips. I'm a natural!

This is a great place that I highly recommend.

Valentine's Day Part 2

So I was actually excited for Valentine's Day this year. I wanted to make it special for Veronica, so it was an all day event! It started with Heart Shaped pancakes, red eggs and strawberries.

Then Heart shaped PB&J for lunch

And for dinner a heart shaped home made pizza.

Veronica liked it so much she licked her plate when she was done!

I had such a great night with my Valentines! I love these two so much and I cant wait to meet my third Valentine in June.
